Mrs. Margaret Mary Powers, 64, of 127 Grant St died Saturday in Golden Hill Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born in New Castle on 11 Jan 1910 to the late J. Renwick and Maude Howard Pattison. She was a member of the St. Mary Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the church.

She married Joseph Blair Powers who preceded her in death in 1930(?). She is survived by a cousin Mrs. Wilfred Thomas of New Castle, a sister-in-law Mrs. Ray (Esther) Webster of Mentor, OH, 2 nieces and a nephew. She was also preceded in death by a son, john in 1948.

Friends will be received at J Bradley McGonigle Memorial Home, 119 North Beaver St from 7-9 PM today. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 AM tomorrow in St. Mary Church by Rev Eugene J. Dougherty. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
