John B. Powers, aged 16 years, son of Joseph and Margaret Pattison Powers died in the Post graduate Hospital, NY, Tuesday morning, following a long illness. The youth was born in Portland, Oregon on 11 Apr 1931. His parents survive. John was nephew to Attorney John Powers and grandson of Mrs. Rebecca Powers, Court St, this city.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 in the Offate Funeral Home this city. Dr. Paul Graham is in charge. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.

Funeral services for John Powers were held Friday at 2:30 PM in the Offuitt Funeral Home, rev J Paul Graham in charge.

Mrs. Ray Bank and Mrs PD Gibson offered selections with Mrs. J. Paul Graham as pianist.

Burial was in Oak Park Cemetery with John S. Powers, OW Freeman, Clarence Boston, Lawrence Fox, James Tucker, and Irwin Barley as pallbearers.
