    The obituary noted that ex-Register Hugh McLaughlin had been notified by telegram that his sister Margaret McLaughlin had died in Rochester. It also noted that her son, William H. McLaughlin, who when notified that she was dying, went immediately from Brooklyn to Rochester and was in attendance when she died. William H. had been recently nominated for member of the State Assembly by the Democrats of the Second District. He belonged to the Fourth Ward of Kings County, Brooklyn. Also mentioned is that Margaret McLaughlin's remains would be brought to Brooklyn, NY.

    Death notice states that Margaret McLaughlin died at Rochester, NY and she was the widow of Patrick McLaughlin. Friends and relatives were invited to attend her funeral form her late Brooklyn residence 93 Lawrence Street. Mass would be celebrated at St. James' Cathedral with interment at the Cemetery of the Holy Cross.
