Obituary MAGGIE J. MCHATTEN CASTLE HILL, Jan. 22 - Mrs. Maggie J. McHatten, 72, died at a Presque Isle hospital today after a brief illness. She was born at Chapman, August 17, 1884, the daughter of Mayhew and Eliza (O`Brien) Littlefield. She had lived in Castle Hill for 53 years. Mrs. McHatten was a member of the Mapleton Methodist Church and a former member of Castle Hill Grange. She is survived by four sons, Milford and Clifford, both of Castle Hill, Wilford of Ashland and Linwood McHatten of Masardis; a daughter, Mrs. Lola De Long of Presque Isle; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Carpenter of Woburn, Mass., Mrs. Asenath McHatten of Castle Hill and Mrs. Laura Crawford of Presque Isle; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home Thursday from 3 to 8 o`clock. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o`clock at the Mapleton Methodist Church, the Rev. Heran A. Grant officiating. Interment will be in the Castle Hill Cemetery in the Spring.
