Marriage record found in Greenfield Library, 10-7-95 Living in Fry, Montana, in 1923, per Jacob estate. From Marcella Mickel: Rock Island, 14 March 1865: "a little daughter of Mrs. KINNICK, living about 6 miles above Sheffield in Bureau County, died in a fire last Thursday aged about 5 y. She was alone in the home at the time with another child, aged 18m. Mr. Kinnick is a soldier." This appears to be Amanda who died, the younger sister is Margaret. Joseph was mustered out of the Civil War service in St. Louis on 10 March 1865. 1900 census for son, Mark Edick, age 12, with father, William H., says divorced, living with his mother, Rachel A. Edick (found her after reading Joseph Kinnick pension file.
