    In December, 1865, she was married to James Leverich and came to ShellRock, IA where her four sons where born. Arke, James, George, and William D.

    During Cleveland's second administration she was appointed postmaster De Shell Rock to fill out an unexpired term De two years for her husband,James Leverich, who died in office.

    She was Shell Rock's oldest pioneer when she passed away.
    She is buried in Riverside Cemetery.
