Margaret Clare Kessler was the daughter of George and ? (possibly Cox) Clare.
She married Benjamin Kessler (1772 – 1839) on November 19, 1795. They lived in the Glade Creek area, Botetourt CO, Virginia. They were involved with the Glade Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church.
They had the following 12 children: Susannah, Joseph, Mary (Polly), Rachael, Benjamin, Jr, John, Elizabeth, George, David, Barnett, Eliza and Jacob.
