OBITUARY
Mrs. Chas. Friedel, living about eight miles northeast of Clinton, died quite suddenly about 3 a.m., Monday morning. She had been in poor health for some time, suffering from heart trouble, which resulted fatally on Monday morning. The funeral was held on Wednesday. The services were conducted at the house by Rev. B.E. Zuehl, assisted by Rev. Bender, and the interment was made in the Clinton cemetery.
Mrs. Margaret Ellen Friedel was born June 30, 1863, at Stillwater, Minn., and died Dec. 21, 1908, aged 45 years, 5 months and 22 days. In 1883 she was married to Wm. Richmire. Four children were born of this union, three of whom survive their mother. Her companion was taken from her by death, and in 1898 she was married to her now sorrowing husband, Chas. Friedel. Three children were born to this union, who now also mourn their mother's untimely death.
Mrs. Friedel was a member of the Congregational church at Marine, Minn. She was highly thought of as a friend and neighbor, which was shown by the goodly number of kind friends who attended the obsequies. The tenderest sympathy of the enitre community is extended to the bereaved family.
