Person:Mamie Higgins (3)

In the 1910 Washington D.C. Census, Marie Meigs is shown as a "daughter" of Alice Higgins. Her age is difficult to read but looks like 34, giving her a birth date of abt. !876. It is belived she was married to George Meigs but he is not shown as living at this residence. Their son, Basil, age 10 is indicated as the "grandson" of Alice Higgins. Apparently this was a "boarding house" with Alice Higgins as proprietor(?).

It is believed that this "Marie" must be the same person as "Mamie" who is shown as the wife of George Meigs, etc., on a data form (Descendant List) from Robin Bango, a descendant of Marie/Mamie's sister, Sadie Higgins & Earnest Eugene Pons.
