Dear Patrick,
My father, Mack Ovid Mathis, is the little boy on our Great-Grandmother Rasberry's right.
I almost fainted when I printed your Davenport Family site at geocities and found the picture posted at the end of the page. I have the identical picture. My cousin, Wanda Joy Mathis, sent it to me a few years ago. Her father, Charles Patrick Mathis, nee Callahan after the County in Texas, known to me as Uncle Pat died some years ago; I'm told he is not in the photograph. Our Uncle Owen Mathis is the taller boy in the second row. We don't know who the other people are but would certainly like to have that information.
My granddaughter said, "They're a grim looking lot aren't they? But very goodlooking. No wonder we're all so pretty." She's 8.
