Lydia Jeffries was born in 1762, her father, Joseph Jeffries, was 30 and her mother, Margaret Crosby Smith, was 27. She married Robert Campbell in 1791, in Greenbrier, Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 3 daughters. She died in 1819, in Pickaway, Monroe, West Virginia, United States, at the age of 57.
