Louisa Elizabeth Thomure was born September 23, 1863 in Ste. Genevieve County near Farmington, the daughter of the late Margaret Laughiner and Edmond E. Bowling, and passed away at her home on Farmington Route 3, Saturday morning, July 12, 1947. She was 83 years 9 months and 19 days of age.
Her husband, Walter Samuel Thomure, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her five children, Virgie (Mrs. Ed) Moore of Farmington; Gustin, at home; Mrs. Settie McCreary, at home; Ethel (Mrs. Walter) Webb of Chicago; and Bertie (Mrs. Stanley) Hackett of St. Louis. She also leaves a brother, John Bowling of Overland, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, July 14, at 2 o'clock at Pleasant Hill with Rev. Amasa Vaugh officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery at Pleasant Hill with Cozean Service.
