Also in the same house, but separate family are Catherine Fitting, a widow age 53, born Germany, immigrated 1855, with 5 of 6 children living. Her son John B. Geilear is 30, single, born 1869 in New York (father New York, mother Germany) [occupation unreadable]. Her son Louis J. Geilear is 25, single, born New York, occupation 'pattern maker'. Her daughter Minnie G. Fitting is 16, single, born New York (father New York, mother Germany), occupation unreadable.  According to a Geilear researcher, Louis died in 1915, however I have not found any info on him after 1900.
