Son of Abraham, grandson of Mordecai, one of seven (?) children including brothers Sam and Willie and a single sister, Fruma/Freda. Immigrated to United States in the early 1900s. The story was that his spirits were so high on the crossing over that he danced on the table and fell in the soup! [per his nephew Morton Elkind]
