    "Louie Cass Belland died Saturday 22 2001 a month and four days shy of her 106th birthday.
    Servvices were held at the First Presbyterian Church,at 2 p.m.Monday September 24 2001 with Rev. Terry Bozarth officiating.Interment was the direction of O'Bannon Funeral Home.
    Pallbeares were Charles Bullock,James Powell,Tommy Davis,Worth Ross, Honey Davis and Lynn Smith Jr. and honrart pallbearers were Knox Manford and J.D.Seay.
    Mrs Belland was born in Sullivan Tx on October 26,1895 to J.J.Davis and Ada Allen Davis.She married to Pearl Albert Belland,1913 at the Methodist Parsonage in Luling Tx.
    The family moved to Port Aransas,and Mrs Belland managed a resort..Mr Belland worked in the oilfield ,and die in 1939.-a year after being injured in an oilfield accident. Mrs Belland then moved back to Luling,to be near her family members and friends.
    She was a homemaker,and ran her own household until several years ago,when he eyesight began to fail.She then made her home at Luling Care Center,where she continued to greet those who visited her-recognizing them by their voices.She always had a kind word and a great story for those who stopped by.
    Mrs Bellard is survieved by a son, Emory Dilworth Bellard,of Marble Falls;nine grandchildern;two sister,Emma Dee Bullock and Taud Floy Ross,both of Luling Tx;a brother,Joe Davis,of Gonzales;and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents,her husband,two sons-Pearl Davis "Pug: Belland and Norman A.Bellard,four sisters-Bonnie Moses,Jennie Powell,Wootsie Smith and Carey O'Toole,and four brothers,Weston Davis,Barker Davis,Jim Davis and Frank Davis.
    The family request that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church,or the charity of one's choice.
