    Funeral services for Baker A.Davis,65,were held at the Peirce chapel Saturday,May 30,1964 at 4:00 p.m.Interment followed in the Highsmith Cemetery with Rev,R.Louis Solomon and Bro.Leroy Hubley as officating ministers,Mr Davis diel in the Green Cross Sanitarium Friday.
    Baker A,Davis,son of Jim Jefferson and Ada E.Allen Davis,was born in Sullivan Tx on December 16,1898. In May of 1925 he and his wife,Nell were united in marriage.Mr. Davis had lived in this area all his life where he was a well known cattlemaan and leaves many friends.
    Survices beside his wife are two sons,Allen Baker Davis and Jim Joe Davis brothers and sisters Joe Emmet Davis,Frank W.Davis John Weston Davis,Mrs Foy Ross,Mrs Wootsie Smith, Mrs Emma Dee Bullock,MrsJennie Powell,Mrs Louie Belland and Mrs Bennie Moses and two grandchildern.
