    Son of Adam Bellard.
    P.A Bellard, died at 6:30 A.M. Wednesday in Corpus Christi Tx after a few weeks illness of influenza,followed by pneumonia.
    Born and reared at Beaumont,he spent nearly all his mature years as a citizen of Luling tx where,in his manhood,he was married to Miss Louie Davis,second daugther of Mr.and Mrs J.J.Davis.Three sons were born to his union Norman,Pearl Jr.,and Emory.
    Deceased was a man of high moral integrity and his friends were those who knew him.He was actively employed in oil industry as a driller and lease buyer,having recently been employed bt=y Abe Lincoln,for whom he worked until an accident rendered him physically incapable of handing a drlling rig.For the past few years he has operated a tourist resort near Rockport Tx.
    Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 o'clock at Highsmith Cemetery from the Peirce Funeral Home. Luling Signal April 18 1941"
