"Caleb named him Lorenzo after the town they lived in in California. He was called Rennie and lived most of his life with his mother and Aunt Margaret. When he got old enough he worked with Caleb in the brick and tile yard. Later he worked at the wood pulp mill in Niles. He was a gifted artist. He quit school at the 7th grade as he was the major support of his mother and aunt. When he took sick of consumption, Caleb came down from South Dakota to care for him as his mother and aunt had passed away. He died at an age of 26."^S3
