  9. "MOTHER OF LOCAL WOMAN DIES TODAY --Mrs. Lodema Critchfield, mother ofMrs. M. G. McConnaughy of Beall Avenue passed away Tuesday morning atBarberton following a long illness of a complication of diseases. Mrs.Critchfield was 63 years of age and was formerly a resident of Waynecounty. She was a woman of many endearing qualities and had many closefriends in the county who will regret her death. Mrs. McConnaughy hasbeen assisting in the care of her mother in the past ten weeks.Remaining members of the family are the following children: Mrs.McConnaughy, Wooster; Mrs. Cloyd Houseworth, Barberton; Mrs. FrankCochren, Shreve; Earl M. Critchfield and Gomer D. Critchfield, both ofBarberton. The remains will be placed in the Akron mausoleum and will beinterred in Marshallville at a later date."
