Florence is Littleberry's granddaughter. Also Lorane Bevia SENTER Sutphin, "My Senter Branches," Family Genealogy compiled December 1989. Sutphin is great granddaughter to Littleberry. Also there is correspondence from Wendy JACOBS, from Dec 1998 to July 2001. Wendy Jacobs is descended from Richard Senter and Elizabeth Hunt via their son Littleberry Senter through his daughter Sarah Ann who was Jacobs great-grandmother.

- ↑ NOTES ON FIRST NAME SPELLING
This individual's first name receives a number of spellings from different sources. I have found Lilleberry, Lillebury, Little Berry, Littebury (Illinois Public Land Sale Record, Wayne County, 21 Apr 1852), Littlebury (1860 Census, Wayne County, Il) and Berry (Military Census, Wayne County, Il 1862). The Family History mms. by Florence Della SENTER Jones-Schonstrom has his name spelled Lilleberry. My Senter Branches by Lorane Bevia SENTER Sutphin has his name spelled Little Berry. Wayne County land records give his name as Littebury and Berry. Despite family member spellings of Lilleberry and Little Berry, Littleberry is the most frequently used spelling in official documents which I have adopted for this genealogy. A number of documents have been found giving different spellings such as Lilleberry, Lillebury, Little Berry, Littebury and Berry. A possible clue exists on his headstone which is engraved, "L B Senter". I prefer to retain the "Littleberry" spelling as given by Ferrier above. I remember my mother and aunts always pronounced his name as though it were one word - Littleberry.
- ↑ NOTES ON MILITARY SERVICE
According to the Wayne County land records, he received a total of 160 acres of "military bounty land" in 1851/52, ten years before the Civil War (1861-1865). He, along with James Senter, Richard Senter and Sandy Senter, probably served as volunteers in the Mexican War of 1846-48. - NOTES ON MIGRATION
We can know that Littleberry was in Wayne County, Illinois by 1852.
