Other?  Not To Be Confused With?: Leysebet Janse (1)

Lisbet was the step-daughter of Aucke Jansen Van Nuys. Aucke had three different women with the same name, Leysebet Jans or a variation, in his life. It has created endless confusion for family historians. Because of this, Lisbet Jans has sometimes been called Elizabeth Jansen Van Nuys and has been listed as a daughter of Aucke Jansen but Aucke's will shows that Lisbet Jans was the daughter of Geertje Gysbrechts and Jan Jacobsen, sometimes called van Rheenen.
