Submitter: Dalice Fadden Subject: BULLOCK, Mrs. Allyn Message: Hazleton Standard-Speaker, Sept. 11, 1968 Death Claims Mrs. Bullock. Mrs. Allyn Bullock, 229 W. Maple St., the former Lillien Rogers Platt, died suddenly at her home Monday night. Born in this city, the deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ario Pardee Platt. She was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and, for many years, served with the former Anthracite Council of Girl Scouts. Her husband preceded her in death in 1950. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Townend Jr., Kingston; three granddaughters, Mrs. David Arnold, Pacific Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Charles Yinkey, Silver Spring, Md., and Miss Margaret L. Townend, Kingston; and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Lippincott Arnold. She also is survived by four sisters: Miss Martha T. Platt, New York City; Mrs. Joseph Smith, Newtown, Conn.; and Mrs. W.C.M. Butler Sr., Conyngham. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o 'clock in St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. References
