Submitter: Dalice Fadden Subject: PLATT, Charles Paul, 1886-1936 Message: From Hazleton PA Standard-Speaker, Wed. Mar. 18, 1936 Charles Paul Platt, aged 50 years, a former resident of Hazleton, died suddenly at his home at Parksley, Virginia, form a heart attack. Interment was made at Parksley on Sunday and was attended by members of the Platt family of this city. Mr. Platt was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ario Pardee Platt, and was born in Hazleton, but located in the south thirty years ago. Surviving are his widow, Mabel Dix Parks Platt, of Parksley, and the following sisters: Mrs. Frank H. Blatch and Mrs. Allyn Bullock, of Hazleton; Mrs. Morris Butler, of Conyngham; Mrs. J.W. Smith, of Cleveland and Misses Martha, Virgina and Elizabeth Platt, of New York City. References
