Edward Bullock, 14 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Allyn Bullock, of 135 North Church street, passed away at 12 o'clock last night at the State Hospital, suffering from pneumonia, that developed after an operation for peritonitis. He had been admitted to the institution two weeks ago last Monday. The deceased was a student at the Vine street junior high school, was a member of Hazleton Council, Boy Scouts of America and was affiliated with the Hazleton Y.M.C.A. He was well known by his fellow students and was well liked by a large number of friends. He is survived by the parents and one sister, Alice, at home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
