13 Dec 1894, p 2 - The funeral of Lillie Hollowell Huddleston took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Christian church. The services were conducted by Elder Wells. The deceased was born in Cincinnati, February 25, 1854, and died December 9, 1894. On the 18th of January, 1888, she was united in marriage to Rufus I. Huddleston, of Knightstown, Rev. L.A. Retts performing the ceremony. They made that place their home for some time. Mrs. Huddleson spent the greater part of her life in this city, and was known to our people as a most estimable woman, quiet, unassuming, with a kind and sympathetic heart. She united with the Christian church of this place, February 2, 1870, and was baptized by Elder Parker. She had been in poor health for several years, and her ailment finally developed into hasty consumption, which caused her death. Her remains were laid to rest in the family lot in Riverside.
