Facts and Events
[edit] Lieuwe HaiesSon of Haye, we don't know much about Lieuwe. The only documentation where he's mentioned is in the baptizing of his 3 children in Sint Annaparochie. [edit] Speculations Possibility 1Since these 3 events took place on different dates (1650/1653/1659) but all in Sint Annaparochie, it's likely his 3 children were born in Sint Annaparochie, and he lived there to. But his oldest known son is named Andries which was not common practice. Usually the oldest son would be named after the grandfather on Fathers side, Haye Lieuwes would be the logical name. It's therefore possible that there are more children then these 3 known, and they came from an other place. [edit] Speculations Possibility 2possible family : Person:Lieuwe Unknown (8)
This would make Person:Haye Lieuwes (1) his older brother, making more sense. [edit] Speculations Possibility 3An other theory, is that Person:Taetske Lieuwes (1) family, married to a Wassenaar, owning land in the same region, and having relations in Spannum ( hence a descendant leaving for Spannum ), also the name Haye in combination with Lieuwe is very common in this region of Minnertsga/Menaldum. It also fits the region of land between Minnertsga/sint Jacobiparochie/Vrouwenparochie.
[edit] Speculations Possibility 4Looking in Minnertsga, you can for instance find this couple with almost matching names, including the rare Eelck for a Woman.
They have a son named Lieuwe baptized 26 Feb 1682 They have a daughter name Antje baptized 02 Dec 1683 Possible sister or cousin : Lolck Hayesdr. from Minnertsga.
