Haye

Nothing is known about Haye but his son's patronimic name.

There are some clues pointing out to him comming from either Harlingen or more south from the area of Pingjum / Witmarsum / Makkum.
Many people there with the patroniem Hayes, including some Lieuwe and Siemen. This could also mean Person:Ocke Hayes (1) could be related.

He might even be the same person as mentioned here : Person:Haye Unknown (4) but evidence has not been found ( yet ).

An other strange speculation is based on the land ownership, an marriage of children.
From a map of 1570, we can see a Haye Wijbes living near Vrouwenparochie, his neigbours to the west are the family and possible ancestors of Jacob Douwes, on the same map in the same area, land is used by Luuye Douwes and Douwe Pybes, likely to be the ancestors of previous mentioned Jacob Douwes.

Grandson Yede Lieuwes Is Marrying a granddaughter of this couple Jetske Douwes , and possibly an other grandson Andries Lieuwes as well with Antie Jabobs.

Again a possible link, in the very same area, the old Bildt between Sint Annaparochie , Vrouwenparochie, Beetgum and Minntersga, where most of the descendants seem to live and marry, there is this Feike hayes , ancestors unknown at this time.

locations

Fact is, most descendants are living in the same area for many years, marying people from the same circle.
In this area's only 2 other Haye's pop up, see map :
