Obituary from The Kingston Daily Freeman, November 7, 1975

Lester E. Irwin, 66, of Route 209, Wawarsing, died Thursday evening at his home. He was born in Neversink, September 9, 1909, a son of the late Hurshel and Lulu Newman Irwin; and was married in Grahamsville July 23, 1933, to the former Irene L. Prichard. He worked in the receiving department at Channel Masters. Mr. Irwin is survived by his widow; a son, Lester R. Irwin of Wawarsing; three brothers: Lynford of Troy, Willard of Adelphi, Md., and Monroe of Ellenville; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Ernst of Parkesvillle; cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. from the Donald H. Bury Funeral Home Inc., 21 Canal Street, Ellenville. The Rev. Herbert Maynard will officiate. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville.
