From O. B. Robbins' book: "In a letter from Mrs. Foster dated Feb. 10, 1947 she says, 'The old-fashioned brick house where we Goodrich's were born still stands. It was built 92 years ago by our grandfather, Price Goodrich who was a methodist minister and a brick mason.

'Silar Jackson lived but 1/2 mile from the Goodrich Homestead which is 1 mile east of larane, as did also John Jackson (John Potts Jackson). Father was 4 years old when he moved into the brick house which is now owned by my youngest sister. This property has never passed out of the ownership of our Goodrigh families."
