In 1911, she presented testimony concerning the parcel post system in Austria and Germany.

She was in DC as late as 1 April 1912 when mentioned in an article in the Washington Post.

She returned to Austria with her daughter in 1912 (see NY Times obit for Julia Langdon). Langdon Stevenson recalls as a child that there were letters from Austria around the house. The family bible notes that daughter Julia died (in Austria) in 1941; no further information about Leopardine is known.

NY times obit of Ledroit's mother, Julia Langdon Barber, includes this (7 July 1912):

The younger Mrs. Barber, who is the widow of Le Droit D. Barber, has long been suffering from a nervous breakdown, and a few weeks ago narrowly escaped death when she leaped from an upper window of the Barber home in this city. She is en route to Vienna, her former home.
