She married Reed Hamilton [2] She died on June 07, 2017 in Harrodsburg, Mercer, Kentucky, United States. [2] She was laid to rest in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky.[1][2]

    HAMILTON Lela Calvert, 91, widow of Wallace Reed Hamilton, died June 7, 2017 at the Harrodsburg Healthcare Center. Born Feb 2, 1926 in Montgomery County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Ella Wilson Calvert. Mrs. Hamilton retired from RCA Manufacturing and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was also a member of The Eastern Star and the Kentucky Friends of the Bluegrass. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Diana Hamilton; two grandchildren, Rhonda (Michael) Flenor and Jo Ann Hamilton; three great grandchildren, Kelsey Richmond, Ryan Flenor and Jacob Flenor; one brother, Tommy (Lois) Calvert; sister-in-law, Bea Calvert; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, David Hamilton; and eight siblings. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Mon, June 12, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12pm Mon. until the service time at the funeral home.
