Per death certificate - died in Graceville hospital atfer 16 days. Was burned in a gas explosion accident in a garage at work on Feb 18, 1948 in Chokio, Stevens, MN. He was an automobile mechanic.

  Sgt. Laverne Sims and Miss Selma Anderson of Minneapolis were married in marriage ceremonies performed in Minneapolis Friday morning. Sgt. Sims is at present stationed at Fort Knox, Wash.
