Ambrose Kirkendall Bliss was born 1 Oct 1837 in Ohio to Ambrose and Esther Anna Varney Bliss. He married Amanda Maria Borah in 1861 in Grant Co, Wisconsin. ______________________
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bliss came to town last night from Iron Mountain to meet the remains of Ambrose K. Bliss, father of Charles, who died in Denver yesterday of senile decay in his 73rd year. A daughter of the deceased accompanied the body to this city. Arrangements for the funeral are now being made. Interment will take place in Lakeview cemetery.
