Military Service

Kenneth "Ken" Platte was a veteran of World War II serving in the Ninth Air Force as a Airplane Crew Chief (B-26 Marauder). He served as an instructor at Kessler Field and a B-26 Crew Chief in England and in Cambria, France.

Kenneth "Ken" Platte passed away on February 14, 2017 in Greenville, Greenville, South Carolina. He is buried in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, Greenville, South Carolina.

Kenneth "Ken" Platte was a history professor at Bob Jones University and a single-engine flight instructor. He loved to fly.
