Harold L. Platte was born on November 14, 1916 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois. He was the fifth son and eleventh child of Joseph Platte and Adilena "Lena" (Schindler) Platte.

Harold L. Platte passed away on October 22, 1917 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois. He was buried in Lutheran Cemetery, Peoria, Peoria, Illinois.

Note

  1. The record of his death states his name was Harlod Lester Platte. The handwritten record of Adilena "Lena" (Schindler) Platte calls him Harold LeRoy.
  2. In August, 1925, a newspaper article in the "Peoria Journal" about the Platte family "13 Children in This Family; all Born in County --Oldest is 25 and All But Two Live at Home on Montana Street" mentions "Harold and Elmer died in Infancy."
  3. The date of birth varies. The family records give November 2, 1916 while the Illinois Record of Death uses October 14, 1916.
