    Julius Miller Of Village Dies

    Julius Miller of Long Prairie, who had been in failing health about a year died Saturday, March 8, at St. John's hospital, Browerville. He was 80 years of age.

    Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran church, Monday March 10 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Oliver M. Schultz. Interment was made in the church cemetery. The pallbearers were Otto Ladwig, Orval Lunceford, Peter Wieland, Lawrence Keller, William Kuehne and Helmer Erickson.

    Julius Adolph Miller was born in Elmore, Minn., Dec. 23, 1888. His parents were Charles and Johanna (Graul) Miller. He lived in Elmore until 1906, then moved to North Dakota. He returned to Minnesota in 1912 living in Nashua. He married Paulina Wilke in Nashua Oct.20, 1915. From 1916 until 1920 Mr. and Mrs. Miller lived in Elmore, Minn. They came to Leslie township, Todd county, Minn. in 1920. From 1926 until 1953 they lived in Reynolds township, and upon retirement from farming moved to Long Prairie village in 1953 (continued on page 5, column 4)
    and have resided here since. Mr. Miller was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.

    Survivors are his wife, Paulina, three children, Leonard Miller, Mrs. Ambrose (Evelyn) Bruder and Melvin of Long Prairie and Mrs. Carl (Marilyn) Jensen of Minneapolis, also 16 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ed Piotter of Elmore, Minn.
