DIES AFTER MANY YEARS' SUFFERING
Mrs. Johannah Christine Miller Dies At Her Home In Elmore After A Nine Years' Sickness
RESIDENT OF COMMUNITY FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS
Funeral Was Held at Trinity Lutheran Church Sunday Afternoon -- Interment at Riverview
After suffering constantly for the past nine years with diabetes, Mrs. Johannah Christine Miller, died at her home in Elmore, Wednesday, October 5, 1921. The deceased was born in Wartburg, Ontario, Canada, January 3, 1854, and was 67 years 9 months and 2 days old at the time of her death.
She was married to Charles Miller, Feb, 3, 1875, and to the union were born fourteen children, ten of whom are living. They are: D.W. Miller, Jamestown, N.D.; E.A. Miller, Elmore; F.J. Miller, Wendell; C.H. Miller and A. W. Miller, Belfield, N.D.; J.A. Miller, Osakis; L.P. Miller, Fargo, N.D.; Mrs. Julius Walter, Turner, Mich.; Mrs. Will Joos, and Miss Hannah Miller of Elmore. Besides her husband she leaves thirty-three grand-children, three brothers and six sisters. She had been a resident of this community for the past thirty four years.
Funeral Services were held Sunday afternoon, being conducted by Rev. Wm Nolte, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church, and the interment was made in the Elmore cemetery.
