At the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. J. Bowman occurred the death of Mrs. Julia Williams Woodard at the advanced age of 82 years and 9 months. Mrs. Woodard was born in the town of Pinckney and for the past 25 years has lived in or around Castorland. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Bowman and Mrs. George Austin of this place and two brothers, Alden Williams of Ira, Cayuga county and Horace Williams of this place. Four grandchildren, Mrs. O. W. Briggs, Eugene Dimick and Guy Rungan of Castorland and Mrs. William Covey of Syracuse. Four great grandchildren, Cleo Briggs, Gladys and Ralph Dimick and Lawrence Covey, all of this place. Funeral was held last Tuesday, 1:30 a. m. from the house and 11 a. m. from the Methodist Episcopal church, Rev. William Thompson officiating. Interment at Castorland cemetery.
