Biography
Judah/Judith was the out-of-wedlock child of Hannah Main and Ebenezer Billings. Ebenezer was found legally guilty of fathering Hannah's child.[1] This case was finalized in 1699 suggesting a birth year for Judah of about 1697 or 1698. Judah was baptized at Stonington on 16 August 1702. "Hannah had daughter Judith baptized Aug. 16, 1702."[2] She is recorded as Judah Billings Main on her marriage transcription.
Judah's mother Hannah Maine was daughter of Ezekiel Maine. Hannah Main seems not to have married as she was unmarried when her father Ezekiel wrote his will (probate 1714).

Philip is to pay his brother Jesse £32 and pay his brother Dier Spaulding £35.Her four sons Philip, Jesse, Abel, and Dier are to equally divide the outdoor movables. The indoor movables are to be divided among her four daughters: Hannah Wilson, Lois Spaulding, Dinah Cady, and Lucy. Son Philip Spalding was named executor.[5]
===Children===Judith and Jonathan had:[6]
- Hannah, b. 1716, not recorded in Plainfield: Uriah, b. 24 Nov 1719, d. 8 Dec 1719[7]: Lois, b. 16 Mar 1720/1 [8]': Dinah, b. 12 Jun 1723 [9]: Philip, b. 26 Feb 1726/7[10]: Abel, b. 10 July 1728[11]: Jesse, b. 12 Sep 1730[12]: Diah/Dyer, b. 18 Nov 1732[13]: Lucy, b. 9 May 1734, not found in Plainfield records, m.
