Biography

===Birth===Jonathan was born to John and Hannah Ballard Spalding in Chelmsford in 1688.[1] ===Marriage===Judith (Judah) Billings, daughter of Hannah ____ Billings Main, married Jonathan Spalding(Spaulding) on 22 April 1714 in Plainfield, Connecticut[2] ===Probate===The distribution from the estate of Jonathan Spalding to the children was made April 1763 following the decease of Judah and the reversion of the dower to the estate. In the real estate division, two-ninths were settled on eldest son Phillip, and one-ninth parts to the other children: second son Abel, third son Jesse, fourth son Dyer, eldest daughter Hannah Wilson, second daughter Dinah Cady, third daughter Lois Spaulding, and fourth daughter Lucy Dean.[3] ===Children===Judith and Jonathan had, mostly in Plainfield:[4]
