Funeral services for Mrs. Jaunita Jean Buckner, age 81, will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home in Humboldt with the Rev, William Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery at Medina, TN. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 11 a.m. until service time."

Mrs. Buckner was born in Memphis, TN. February 8, 1931 to the late Carl T. Goodrich and Ruby (Mc Glayghlin) Goodrich Norville.

Mrs. Buckner spent most of her life in Medina and Humboldt, TN where she was a retired receptionist and seamstress. Mrs. Buckner was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Mrs. Buckner was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Buckner and a sister, June Hawks.

Mrs. Buckner is survived by a daughter, Judy Ross and husband Larry of Oakfield, TN; a granddaughter, Valerie Sharp of Jackson, TN; and two great grandchildren, Kyla Grace and Jaxon Sharp of Jackson, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
