This family was at the village of Jean Theriot on the river Canard before they settled at Pisiquit. In 1755, they were deported to Virginia where they were refused entry and detained there for some time. His wife Elizabeth Theriot died in Virginia in 1756. They were then transported to England where Joseph died in 1757. Several members of this family were at Morlaix, France, in 1767. Except for Joseph-Charles Trahan the oldest; he was deported to Massachusetts. |
