- ↑ "Joseph Alphonso Stansbery, 83, who resided on a farm west of Brownstown,passed away at 4:40 pm Wednesday in Wyandot Memorial hospital ofcomplications. Mr Stansbery had been in failing hearth for the pastyear, and seriously ill 10 days. Born Feb. 16, 1876, in Wyandot county,he was a son of Ephriam and Charlotte (O'Neal) Stansberry. He marriedSarah Blanche Zeller, who survives, October 18, 1900, at the York StreetMethodist Church. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Iva MarieRichardson and Miss Mabel Bernice Stansbery, of Upper Sandusky; MissGolda Stansbery, Decliff, and Mrs Maleta Ida Bausman, Kenton; and twosons, Ralph T. Stansbery, route three, Upper Sandusky, and Guy WStansbery, route five, Upper Sandusky; 20 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren; and two brothers Ephraim, route five Upper Sandusky andGeorge of the Wyandot county home. Two sisters and seven brothers aredeceased. Mr Stansbery followed the occupation of farming. He was amember of the Christian Union Church at Brownstown and resided at hisfarm home his entire lifetime. Funeral services will be held at 2pmsaturday at the Lucas funeral home with Rev L.M.Gambill, pastor of theMarseilles Methodist Church, officiating. Interment is to be made in theStansbery cemetery, west of Brownstown."
