In the 1840 United States census, Jos. Napoleon Seaver was a head of household in Northboro town, Worcester County, Massachusetts. The household included one free white male aged 15 to 20, one free white male aged 40 to 50, one free white female aged 10 to 15, one free white female aged 15 to 20, one free white female aged 20 to 30 and one free white female aged 40 to 50 (1840 United States Census, Worcester County, Massachusetts, Population Schedule, Northboro, Page 154, FHL Microfilm 0,014,682).

In the 1850 US census, the Joseph N. Seavers family resided in Northborough, Worcester County, MA. The household included Joseph N. (age 56, carpenter, $1,200 in real property, born MA), Eunice (age 49, born MA) and Mary (age 19, born MA). [LDS Microfilm 0,443,562, page 263, family #263].

In the 1860 US census for Massachusetts, Joseph N. Seaver (age 60, master carpenter, born MA, personal property of $100) resided with George (age 30, cordwainer) and Mary Cheever (age 30) in Northborough, Worcester County, MA. [LDS Microfilm 0,803,528, page 962, house #844].

No trace of this family was found in the 1870 US Census. A head-of-household search for Joseph Seaver (and known variants) was unsuccessful in the entire US. A head of household search for Joseph, Jos and J (given name only) in Worcester County, MA as unsuccessful.
