OSWEGO DAILY PALLADIUM Tuesday September 24, 1918, Page 5 Column 5 OBITUARY JOSEPH PERKINS Joseph Perkins, aged ninety-three years, died this morning about three o'clock at the home of his daughter Mrs. Patrick Bartholomew, 41 East Fifth street. Mr. Perkins was ill but a short time, having suffered a stroke on Saturday last. He was born in Canada and came to this city about fifty three years ago and had since resided here. Deceased was a member of St. Louis Church, from where the funeral will be held. One daughter, Mrs. Patrick Bartholomew and one son survive. OSWEGO DAILY PALLADIUM Thursday September 26, 1918, Page 2, Column 5 FUNERAL TODAY The funeral of the late Joseph Perkins was held this morning from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Patrick Bartholomew, 41 East Fifth street at 9 o'clock and from St. Louis Church at 9:30. The Rev. Joseph Wilmes officiated. The church was crowded with friends of the family. The bearers were Israel LaFave, Paul Methot, Joseph Danio, Frank Beachane, George Delisle and Edward Stacy. Internment took place at Rural Cemetery. |
