Joseph, the Son of Joseph & Annis Morse, was borne the 26 of the 7 m'o.
[Note: In recording the parents, the town clerk appears to confuse Joseph and Hannah Morse with John and Annis Morse of the same town, getting half of each couple named as parents. The mother Hannah's will of 1676 named a son Joseph, so Joseph and Hannah had a son Joseph at some point, and John and Annis already had a son named Joseph born in 1640, so it appears that the parents of this 1649 birth should have been recorded here as Joseph and Hannah.]
