Case 3747 Morse, Jeremiah Sr. Medfield 1716 May 21.
Will of "Jeremiah Morse Sen'r of Meadfield", dated 30 Oct 1700, proved 21 May 1716, names son Jeremiah; wife; all my children. Wife and brothers Samuell Morse and Joseph Morse to be executors. [Portion of a judge's note, the unseen part possibly the allowance of this will, but adding that John to have the share and interest he would have had the testator died intestate, since he was born several years after the will was written.] 13 Mar 1715/16: Inventory of Jeremiah Morse late of Medfield: £372-7-6, by Benjamin Clark, Henry Adams, Samuel Smith. Will of "Jeremiah Morse of Medfield ... being weak in Body", dated "[blank] day of [blank]" 1715/16, incomplete, names wife Elizabeth Morse; son Jeremiah Morse; son Timothy Morse he making allowance to Hanna Linckhorn; son Benjamin Morse; son Samuel Morse; son Jedidiah; son John Morse [under 21]. 21 May 1716: Deposition of Henry Adams of Medfield that started a new will but Jeremiah Morse too sick to finish, had left old will with him.

[This deed and the next 6 appears to be implementing an agreement of heirs regarding this splitting of the real estate. The same parties appear to be named in each, with only their roles changing, so only the first is abstracted. This/these deeds are particularly interesting because they show that Source:Morse, J. Howard. Morse Genealogy : Comprising the Descendants of Samuel, Anthony, William and Joseph Morse and John Moss : Being a Revision of the, p. 24-25 misrepresented both Mary (given wrong husband) and Abigail (did not "d. y.").] [blank] 1741/42 [other deeds are 19 Jan 1741/42]: Benjamin Morse of Wrentham, Samuel Morse of Medfield, Jedediah Morse and John Morse both of Stoughton, Elizabeth Morse of Medfield, Aaron Clark of Wrenthan and Mary his wife, and Thomas Clark of Medfield with Abigail his wife quitlcaim to brother Timothy Morse of Walpole Husbandman the undermentioned parcels left by our Father.
