The Bridgeport Telegram Bridgeport, Connecticut Friday, July 22, 1955 Joseph R. MacMaster Stamford, July 21 - Services will take place Saturday for Joseph Roswell MacMaster, 62, of 34 Ralsay road, formerly a Bridgeport resident 1 1/2 years, who died Wednesday in Stamford hospital after a long illness. They will be conducted at 10:30a.m. in the Bouton and Reynolds funeral home, 545 Bedford street, with the Rev. Russell McGowan, D.D. officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Memorial cemetery. Formerly with the Steeleman and Birkins company of Bridgeport, he was an investment broker with Haegeman and company at the time of his death. Mr. MacMaster is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Birkins MacMaster; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Archer, of Louisville, Ky.; two sons, George G. MacMaster, of Stamford, and Marshall E. MacMaster, of Milford; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Charles Smith, of Fairfield. [Winifred MacMaster was Mrs. Charles Smith.]
