Unfortunately, no records have been found so far for this John Stevenson McMaster. There is a biography of a DIFFERENT John Stevenson McMaster here: http://www.electricscotland.com/history/descendants/chap102.htm but a reading of this bio will readily show that this is not the man who married Laura Marie Jackson. It is unknown at this time what might have happened; in 1900 Laura is shown with 3 young children and indicates she is a widow. There is a marriage record found at www.familysearch.org.
