According to his cousin's wife (User:trentf's mother) his wife disappeared one day, and a few days later he got a phone call from a woman who said "your wife ran off with my husband". As a result, he was ostracized from the rest of the family. He had been good friends with his cousin (User:trentf's father), who, years later asked the family for contact information, but they refused to provide anything. (more precise dates TBD)

He had one daughter by his first wife, and later remarried Dolly Meckley [4]
